Lisani
The country of Lisani was once the eastern front on the Zedaric Pennisula. However, only over a period of thirty years and a rebellion have the people become much different to those of Zedara. While they still hold the same language, laws, and religion, the Lisani are also different in many ways. They're much less strict on laws against women and have considerable equality among orcs. They also have many smaller faiths and don't have the same Influence from the Libanese settlers who conquered much of Zedara.
Even with the faith of Stellaism, rivers are viewed as holy sites and the Goddess Riva has been replaced with the Stellaric goddess, Seri The Harvester, and a symbol of rivers and life.
It is important to note that cannabalism among those in Lisani is only legal if they convert to Rhekaism or if they were raised with that faith. And Cannabalism can only be practiced under a Rhektash, or shaman. If these laws are not obeyed, then they would be condemned to die.
Lesser Faiths of Lisani
While the dominant faith remains to be Stellaism followed by the Zhonkaric faith of Rhekai. There are many smaller faiths practiced.Faith of Brazzon
The faith of Brazzon is a following of the burning God known as Brazzon. It is believed that the world was created with fire and water, and that when the two came into contact, they created earth and from that earth Brazzon was born. Brazzon is a symbol of the volcanic island of Salan and his faith can be found there.Faith of Riva
The faith of Riva is a mostly dying faith, but it's culture and ways of life still remain. Riva is the goddess of all life and it's believed all life began from the rivers. From this faith, the early settlers of Lisani before Lisani cut up the land by way of the rivers and streams. By the anchient laws of Riva, each tribe would rull a different river. But ambition and power was the downfall of most men and brought the reign of the Bronze Kings. It was believed these men had poweres attached to the rivers and could bend a river at their will.Even with the faith of Stellaism, rivers are viewed as holy sites and the Goddess Riva has been replaced with the Stellaric goddess, Seri The Harvester, and a symbol of rivers and life.
Rhekaism
While Rhekaism has it's origins on Zhonkaric culture, it's still an important part of southern Lisani. Rhekaism is the belief that life is an every changing world and it exists throughout cycles. The Zhonkaric and southern Lisani believe that the earth itself is God and that all life is reincarnated. It's believed that whenever something would eat something else, it consumes it's soul and that the soul will be reborn in that creature's family. It is for this reason the Orcish eat their own dead to preserve the line of Reincarnation. It is important to note that cannabalism among those in Lisani is only legal if they convert to Rhekaism or if they were raised with that faith. And Cannabalism can only be practiced under a Rhektash, or shaman. If these laws are not obeyed, then they would be condemned to die.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Most Lisani are taught to speak Zedaric, but many within Goldreach, East Fall, and The Gift, are taught how to speak Zhonkaric as a second language. Those who are Orcish Lisani are taught Zhonkaric as a first language and Zedaric as a second one.
Culture and cultural heritage
The Lisani are a mixed group of the western Zedaric, and eastern Zhonkaric with the old people of Riva at their source who in turn, became the Bronze Kings. They have much of the Zedaric chivalry and the Zhonkaric closeness to earth.
Shared customary codes and values
The Lisani believe in the Zedaric code of chivalry and feudalism. However, in The Gift. The Zhonkaric Orcs are given right to practice their own laws with accordance from the throne. The faith of Rhekai is heavily controlled, due to it's involvement with cannabalism, but in no way outlawed. Outside of the gift, Rhekaism is still permitted, but the faith is uncommon enough to cause to many problems.
Many more of the conservative Lisani look down on the orcs because of this.

Common Dress code
The Lisani are often found garbed in thin flowing clothes made for the hot and humid climate of the Zedaric jungles. Much of their clothes include very flambouant colors in contrast to the constant greens of the Jungles. This is somewhat uncommon in The Greens however, where many noblemen and women where colors close to that of the trees.
Art & Architecture
Like the Zedaric. Their artchitecture is very brutalist, consisting of a lot of stonework and concrete buildings. Wood is uncommonly due to it's flameable nature during the dry season. Or if it is used, it's hidden under layers of non flamable materials.
Ideals
Gender Ideals
It was often believed that Men and warriors and Women are mothers, but everything changed after Queen Lisan Eltora raised an army and forged the Kingdom of Lisani. Although social presures still exist. Women are allowed to take up positions in office and become knights. Many Lords have started to teach women in the skills of archery and hunting, but finding knights is rare.
For the most part, men still remain the head of the house hold in most families and women are the caretakers and mothers.

Relationship Ideals
When a man wishes to wed a woman, it is customary that the man hunt an animal worth of a feast that should be consumed by both the husband and the bride on the day of their wedding. However, as times have changed, under Lisani law, women have shown their willingness to hunt for an animal if they wish to wed a husband.
While it is looked down upon by the faith. gay or lesbian relationships are permitted, but they are not allowed to marry. In southern Lisani, The Gift, orcs are also allowed to practice polygamy and have multiple partners, sometimes gay or lesbian ones.
