West Eghean Trading Guild

The West Eghean Trading Guild is an organization of merchants active in the walled cities of West Eghea. The guild was founded in 323 AP in an attempt to restore trade among the walled cities after the post-pulse rebuild. The guild represents merchants from all trades, and sees to it that they receive fair pay for their wares. This means they are always present when a city negotiates export and import of wares with foreign nations and companies. They also regulate minimum prices that can be asked for wares, to make sure everyone earns a fair pay.

Headquarters

The main headquarters of the guild is found in Sajhdula. But each west eghean city has their own bureau. They stand in rank under the main headquarters.

Main headquarters

The leader and highest ranks of members can be found in Sajhdula. Much of the administration is kept and done here as well. With the other bureau's sending copies of their administration to the main headquarters several times a year. Many of the guilds important decisions are made here. Like acceptance into the guild. Applications from other bureau's are gathered here, and a final decision is made by the executives.

Guild Bureaus

The guild's bureaus can be found within every west eghean city. The larger cities might have more than one. This way merchants have an easier way contacting the guild. Even Sajhdula has a few bureas in various parts of the city far away from their headquarters.

History

When the guild was founded in 323 AP in the city of Sajhdula they had very little say in their field. They had to work very hard to convince merchants of the advantages of being part of their guild. Over time the Oracle of Sajhdula started to support the guild which eventually lead to the founding of bureaus in other walled cities in West Eghea. The guild is now a fundamental part of west eghean economy, and well known throughout the rest of the world.
