Magi-Mechanics

Magi-Mechanics is a hard field to categorize. Inventions considered Magi-mechanics simply need both "hard" mechanics and magic. Things such as Arcanarms are actually mostly magic-driven, with very simple mechanisms to release the power of the weapon. On the other hand, Sky drivers are driven by the magic of Swoop , but operate off of technology. Without the frame of the sky driver, the Swoop simply provides uncontrollable force.
 
Magi-Mechanics are everywhere in the realms, and provided the basis for settlement in Kaiyocea and Aerava, in the form of Water Breathing Accessories and Sky Driver. Likewise, Terr'aina is unified and prospers thanks to Sending Towers.
 
There are a few general rules inventors tend to follow when creating Magi-Mechanics. Firstly, improvement or adaptation over creation. This mean that when inventing Magi-Mechanics it is better to take an existing item or tool and either adapt it to your idea or improve it in some way.
