Bavi'kaan

Bavi'kaan shares a unique place with the people of Terr'Aina , being much more hands-on and involved than the other patron deities. While most other patrons are known to interact with their people from time to time, entire periods of Terr'aina's history have had Bavi'kaan in charge, or as an advisor to the state. Despite his stern and uncaring demeanor, he descends to Terr'Aina , once a year during a special festival, often offering advice but occasionally just partaking in mortal pleasures. Bavi'kaan is also known for his unique demeanor around mortals. At his request, he asks those he favors to call him "Bavi", despite his godly status and traditional name. He often asks to be treated informally, and demands no accommodations be made, despite his apparent commanding and bossing of even the most high ranking officials.
Bavi sponsors and encouragement establishment and growth of his temples, as well as his own lands, which Bavi sometimes refers to as his "testing grounds" or "playgrounds". He often appears as a middle aged man, with mud-colored skin and flowing clothing. He rarely assumes other forms, but a mongoose and ostrich are his patron animals. In conflict, he wields a "commander's axe", a massive weapon with patterns on either side for signaling.
Bavi occupies a special place for different people of Terr'aina. For the people of grand cities, such as Cuciler , he represents stability of society and buildings - the foundation of the world around them. However, for the nomadic people of Terr'aina, he occupies a much different, older position. The nomadic people of Terr'aina are the "original" people of Bavi, yet to them, he is a much different god. Often portrayed as a much bolder, amplified version of himself with his aloof and standoffish traits increased. This is definitely not what the more rooted people of Terr'aina want from their god, but for the Terr'ainan Nomadic People, an aggressive god who is unwilling to budge is perfect for their lifestyle.
