Willow Sanctum
Tamynia's main center of education, the Willow Sanctum has a widely-respected reputation. With its 6 campuses, spread all over Tamynia, the Willow Sanctum is in charge of educating young curious minds from around the world, of which there are many.
Structure
The High Inquirer is the leader of the Sanctum. They are responsible for all major affairs within the Sanctum, as well as the nominations of the Inquirers, and have veto over any decisions they take.
The Inquirers are directors of their Faculty, each assigned one at their nomination. They are responsible for any decisions relating to their Faculty or domain of study and will often have a say in choosing their Faculty's professors.
The Professors, and other staff, are subordinated to the Inquirer of their Faculty, relying on their wisdom to educate and guide their students. The Sanctum has, over the years, established a total of 6 faculties everywhere around Tamynia:
Faculty of Oratory, in Hamji
Faculty of Apparatus, in Baseg On
Faculty of Vitality, in Sincheon
Faculty of Reconnaissance, in Nachaek
Faculty of Erudition, in Manjin
Faculty of Will, in Taecho

History
Founded not long after the Unification of the Provinces, the Sanctum was, at first, an attempt at peace and a place where scholars could come rest, discuss, research, and commit to the books their findings. The first building, situated in Baseg On, was initially used as a library where passing ships could submit their scrolls and books for transcription.
The name Willow Sanctum was given after the gigantic willow tree which grows in the Sanctum's courtyard. Today, the tree is protected by the glass dome which now covers the courtyard, and generations upon generations of students have engraved love declarations and insults upon its bark.
