Requirements
The unusual and only requirment to become the Lama of the Viel is that you are Marked by the Seven
Appointment
Duties
As the ruler of the waste and them being chosen by the gods, they are the ultimate rulers of the Ethereal Wastes. Therefore it is their privilege and honor to care for, guide, and protect the People of the Sun. Their word is the final say when it come to anything dealing with Oracles of the Seven Gods or Ocral.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The only way for the Lama to be removed is by death.
Cultural Significance
This title belongs to the most power person in the whole of Ocral. Because of the uniqueness of how the title is obtained, their voice on the High Kings Advisory carries significant weight. So much so that the Lamas are the one person that the High King himself will travel the dangerous wastes to seek his council.
