One very common element is soft fluid lines. Whether it is a plaster abode or a sword for their warriors. All the structures they build are designed to blend or join in symbiosis with nature. All of their settlements are part of some form of Oasis or water cache. Notice I said I said part of and not that it is part of the settlement.
The glass smiths and potters of these people are the best at what they do. Through the millennia, the glass workers and potters have communed with the gods and nature, listening to them and honing their crafts.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Hospitality is of great importance to these people. They will always offer help to another when asked or even if they see the need. Most will even extend this to visitors from anywhere. Unless one shows hostility towards you, always show respect to others.

After the death of any member of the Oracles of the Seven Gods or when one has reached an advanced age, they are assigned a biographer to them. The biographer is paid by the state to research the life and if able to talk and collect the story of their appointee. Once all this information has been collected, it will be transcribed into a book and placed in the Eternal Library.

For the people of the sand, they do not see a difference between man or woman, even between, say the alien-looking Thri-Kreen and the elegant Bronze Elf they are the same in each other eyes they are all the children or people of the sun.
Relationship Ideals
Family is a very important aspect of the life of the people. The core family is of high importance, but they also see each other as a family to each other. This belief makes very strong bonds between all the people of the sun.
