Kohuru

Basic Information

Anatomy

Unlike their cousins, they do not look like they were meant to fly. They have soft thick feathers that appear almost fur-like. When they fold their wings they disappear into the rest of their foliage. Their eyes are also extremely large. Because of this demure nature and their almost clumsiness in the day most people underestimate their abilities.

Biological Traits

A unusual aspect that they have is the ability to turn there head three quarters of the way around. This allows them to litterly see behind them.

Behaviour

Whenever possible, Kohuru prefers to stay out of the sunlight. During the day, they would prefer to sleep, but with the incredibly long days of the planet, they tend to stay indoors or in heavily shaded areas.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Kohuru are designed for the night. There eyes allow them to see incredibly far in the dark. As well combined with their impecable hearing night has no meaning to them.
Unfortunatly the same eyes do not work well at all in the brightness of the day.
