Agricultural Ward

The Agricuracal Ward has come a long way from the fungus farms of the original Tower of Lockgear. As the tower has grown and technology has advanced, they can now grow or raise any plant or animal found on the planet and use the proceeds to feed the city's people or to harvest difficult-to-find organic components.

Demographics

These wards' workforce in this area is about 80% government and the remainder are from the private sector. The private sector is where the unique and specialized habitats are.

Infrastructure

Unlike other wards, except for maybe in the Nature Wards. The primary concern is plenty of open space and water, so much so that it makes sense they simulate rain over vast fields in many of the specialty departments. They can refract a modified level of the sun's rays using reflection technology. Depending on the level of light needed, they can adjust the massive mirrors that mark the outside of the tower making for perfect growing conditions no matter the crop. Most departments have at least one Condensing Tower if not more for its own use.
A unique piece of the infrastructure is the SRES.
Besides flora farming, they also use departments to raise different livestock. They have even used their advanced technology to create perfect aquariums to allow fish farming and other sea-related creatures.

There is actually a higher visitor rate to these wards from outside the tower than you would think. Agriculturists from around the world will come and visit for either biome specialties or learn new and more productive agricultural techniques.

Like many of the wards these are a open floor format to bring in whatever they need to create the required biosphere.
