Dr. Stefano Corvinus

Dr. Stefano Corvinus is a middle-aged kalashtar man trained in the healing arts and arcane practices of Carmenthia. He currently serves as the director of St. Carmen's Medical Institute. Amidst the minds of St. Carmen's, Dr. Corvinus has proven to be both a brilliant medical researcher and an excellent physician. He makes a point to actively participate in the care of patients while managing the entire institute. With the onset of the unknown disease outbreak, Dr. Corvinus has taken on a more active role in the attempted treatment of the inflicted.

Although talented and respected by many, Dr. Corvinus' opinions and approach to gathering knowledge has put him at odds with some of the other notable members of the Institute, including, most notably, Dr. Rolan Conway. He believes in the authority of Carmenthia and believes in restoring faith in her knowledge. They are mere extensions of her will, after all. This plague is new and diverting resources to uncover something old and lost to time is a waste and disservice to her knowledge-seeking process.
