Auhir , The Infinite

Though better known than their twin Apeiron, Auhir is still little known as a religious figure, never mind as an actual deity. What little information attributed to them is either altogether incorrect, or misattributed from Apeiron. As a result, those who know of Auhir believe them to be the deity of life. It is not life which is infinite, ever-lasting... it is death which lasts forever, and which comes for all of us, sooner or later.
Like the other deities, including Apeiron, Auhir cares little for the mortals which now wander the planet. They are withdrawn but observant, and have taken an especial interest in the newly-forming groups which worship them. Key among those is the Society of Infinity, who Auhir watches from the shadows, judging. Should they prove themselves to be of the wrong kind, the kind of people who spill innocent blood in their worship... Well, death comes for all, but for some it comes very soon indeed.
Apeiron and Auhir are twin deities, appearing almost like mirror images of one another. They are the same and yet different, identical and yet unmistakably different. Where Auhir breaks their black void with warm tones of red and gold, Apeiron instead appears in cold blue and silver, something which no doubt does no favors to the misunderstandings about their nature for either of them.

Divine Domains

Auhir is the deity of the Infinite. Though neither they nor their twin truly represent life or death, Auhir comes closer to representing death than Apeiron. In truth, they represent the inevitability of death, the steady truth of the void. In a broader sense, they are the reason why things exist, an essential foundation for life to build upon. After all, life could not flourish if death never pushed it to.

History

Created from the same deity when it split, Apeiron and Auhir have always existed together, be it as part of the same being or as twin deities. Though those aware of their existence tend to think of them as contrasts, two opposites, in truth the two are fairly close... well, as close as immortal deities get, that is.
