God

Gods, also known as deities, are more of a concept than a proper species. Little is known about them--most people either don't believe they exist, or think of them as religious figures, not beings which share their planet with them. In the past, they coexisted on Drakunne with the dragons that still exist there, but for reasons unknown... they vanished.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Deities are shapeless beings, made out of pure magic. Though they can--and often do--take on physical forms, there is no true underlying anatomy, and they don't always form complete appearances. They are, functionally, shapeshifters, capable of taking on whatever forms they prefer. They tend to have preferences in how they show themselves, but it's unclear whether these are personal or just for the convenience of being recognized by others. Their consistency is colors and patterns appears to be similar, maintained even more consistently than the rest of their appearance.

Genetics and Reproduction

Though deities are non-physical entities and thus can't reproduce in any direct manner, they can use magic to produce offspring, should they desire to do so for any reason. It's practically unheard of, however, with the exception of Auhir and Apeiron, twin deities who were formed from a single deity splitting apart.

Growth Rate & Stages

As deities never reproduce, nothing is known about their growth. Auhir and Apeiron both came into existence fully formed, but then they were created from a single fully grown deity. Minor deities are known to sometimes take physical forms by creating themselves a vessel, but in doing so create themselves a dragon egg to inhabit, following the lifecycle of said species.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Unclear. As purely magical beings they are, without doubt, capable of sensing magic, and likewise of using magic to make sense of the world around them. Though they often take on shapes like those of dragons, it's unclear whether they have access to the senses those forms grant (or whether they can make sense of them), or whether they exclusively use magic to perceive the world around them.
