Nólas

Nólas1 are small mustelids found in Kanix Forest along the northern edge of the Dragonían continent, particularly the western part of the forest. They are related to Cliff Martens in Ela'k Forest to the northwest, though they don't share the latter's ability to glide.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Nólas specialize in hunting small rodents on the forest floor, so much so that they are poor swimmers as well as climbers, unlike most other mustelids in the region which are adequate at either of those things. They make their dens beneath rocks, tree stumps or in burrows made by other animals.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The Ameders inhabiting Kanix Forest hunt nólas for their pelts and especially tails, which are particularly sought after by warriors of the city-state of Alketaar, who use them to decorate their cloaks.
