Kújet System
The kújet system1 was a unique method to use magic without relying on mages, designed by the ancient theropod-like Brariians in central Dragonía to make up for the faint amount of magic in the region. It utilized two rare metals, namely Ba-Olúl and aakóor, which were crafted into an extensive network of twisted wires and cables connecting all sorts of devices, which could absorb, boost and channel magical energies (particularly the element of Fire from Mt. Æjat into different places across Triiklá, land of the Brariians.
This allowed them to ensure bumper crops and keep stable temperatures in their hatcheries, among other things, so that even as the environment in central Dragonía became increasingly hot and arid over time, the Brariians' civilization continued to thrive up until their brief occupation by the humanoid Móerkels.
The latter, while impressed by the intricate teal and silvery devices (some even describing it as a wonder of the world), were never quite able to figure out how the kújet system worked or even its exact purpose, mostly due to language barriers. The Brariians planned to use this to their advantage and attempted to weaponize the network, only to face sudden demise and complete destruction of their homeland as the kújet system backfired instead. Complexity
Building and especially maintaining the kújet system was in the hands of a number of different specialists, as not only was working with the wast network a complex task, but often a dangerous one due to the risk of overloading a section of it, which could result in the metal suddenly warping, shattering or even exploding.
Messengers were used extensively to alert different teams of any adjustments made or anomalies found in the kújet system in order to prevent such events from happening as much as possible.
