Úlverril

Úlverril is the capital of Beikatrót on the easternmost Plain of Kings, located near the mouth of Draapei River in the southeastern part of the country.

Demographics

Most of the inhabitants are native Beikatrótans, along with smaller communities of Áhalíans, Póletrótans, Ameders and Yrels.

Defences

Úlverril is surrounded by a palisade upon a wall of rammed earth which forms a near-perfect circle, with four gates facing the cardinal directions. The palace is defended by the same kind of wall, though much smaller.

Infrastructure

Úlverril is divided into quadrants by the four main roads running through it, the streets are laid out in a grid pattern with the palace located in the center. Market squares are located where the main roads intersect with the one encircling the palace, with the larger temples located nearby and smaller shrines found throughout the city.

Architecture

Most of the houses are built using wattle and daub, with thatched roofs and often two stories tall. The outer walls of virtually all the buildings are decorated in some way with green paint to keep evil spirits at bay.
