Cloud Monastery

Those seeking absolution, sanctuary, or simply peace of mind may make a pilgrimage far to the north to seek out the Cloud Monastery. Here the Nimbus Monks channel what they view as the teachings of Tempest, Primeval of Air. They lead simple lives of poverty and meditation away from the conflicts of the Imperium.
Occasionally disgraced lord and defeated generals will opt to make the journey and join the monks rather meet their end at the hands of their enemies. This is generally viewed as an honorable way to live out one's life and demonstrates mercy on the part of the victors who may not wish to unnecessarily anger whomever their vanquished foes leave behind.
