Oscar Romero
A former gang member of the Playboys still operating in LA following the Fifth Crisis pull out of the USA. Oscar was picked up in a sweep during the Battle Of LA.
He was held in containment for a year until a PAL training program got him set up with technical and Mechanical skills. When he was released, he return home to find he was the only son of five to survive. His house had turned into a large multigenerational home with the woman he got pregnant now racing his infant daughter, his brother's widows, who were raising his nieces, as well as a disappointed mother and grandmother. As the last man of age in the family, a lot is put on him by the collection of women, but also, the toxic relationship and resentment make the home less a refugee and more a place to flee.
Jack Curtis knows Oscar's grandmother and pitied the young man providing him with a job if he was willing. He often works extra shifts to make more money and not have to deal with his home. Sometimes, he brings his daughter or his nieces, who explore the strange land of the junk yard, which is HEAVY SATURN's Hangar area.
