Fifth Crisis
The race humanity called the Centuri arrived a month later after Earth had returned to something like it was before the Higgs Warhead's denotation. The UN was in chaos, the Pacific in crisis, and the Kaiju expanding out in agitation of something setting off a bomb in their home.
The Centuri arrived in a massive space fleet claiming to be enemies of the X'tachn, and from the energy detected they arrived with a force equal to the expected energy release.
Finding Humanity, much of the Fleet moved on, a small expeditionary force remained behind.
They began to help humanity, fighting back against the Kaiju and OMNI with their soldiers, who showed incredible uncanny powers similar to the NuType Experiments.
At first, the Centuri were welcomed Heroes for these action. Then, they began to take more and more of Earth’s wealth for themselves. And it was quickly found they had begun to preform cruel experiments and changes to the planet to terraform it for themselves. The Plan was take the Earth its unique techonolgy reverse engineered from thier foes and slowly remove humanity or make them subservient slave class in their Empire. The Centuri were not the good guys.
The Centuri saw themselves as the supreme race, destined to be the true overlords of the galaxy. They were obsessed with the need to prove their superiority, achieved through genetic modification and mutation
As Earth fought back, the Centauri did not take kindly to it.
The Centuri landed in the Middle East and operated in Europe, and the resistance to their forces began a long and brutal struggle.
Centuri had long since adopted a Nu-human approach to its species, making everyone powerful and armed with seemingly supernatural abilities, many of which normal humans were unable to fight back against, even with C.O.R.E.s and advanced weapons. While the shocking similarities between Humanity and Centuri were noted by Earth and the Centuri theory were secondary to the ability of sharing DNA allowed for Humanity to advance its NuTypes to new hieghts and even the Centuri to learn possible something new.
The fighting slowly intensified, most of the old world falling under occupation and resistances forces trying to fight back only to see retribution brutuality not seen since WW2 and the actions taken by Nazi SS during the Riche's occupations.
The saving grace was the New World and much of Asia vast terratory could fight the Centuri and the UN redubbed the Joint Task force into a new organistion S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L. OSSI was formally invited and accepted into the UN mostly begrudly by the other nations.
Given the Nature of the Centuri as NuTypes, the shift of the Earth was to produce more and more specialized NuType Soliders to fight back against the Centuri.
Course the Centuri's arrival and the escalation of Higgs Energy and computers built on those principles would eventually find the attention of the creators of that technology made easier by situations that arose.
Buried deep in the code of the OMNI systems was found a code, a communication radio frequency type of thing to use the powerful transmitters built from the discovery inside the X'tachn technology. It is unknown who used the code, but someone broadcasted it, someone scared and desperate.
With in a week of the strange pulse, a pulse that sent the Centurai feral in their response, a ship arrived, a different one, massive nearly as big as the moon. A mighty single ship, larger than the entire combined Centuri Fleet that arrived with thier visitation.
A massive space battle took place over the Earth. Humanity use this opertunity to fortify its positions and wait.
After blinding flashes of what were though Higgs Warheads used by the Centuri agains the ship. The massive ship would crash land into the great plains of North America in several hundred different size pieces. Where the Centuri quickly began to try and stop the forces of the X'tachn, launching new raids against the crumbling US to strike at these pieces.
The ship was a living creature that slowly began to die and wither away, the X'tachn re proposing it into structures and using its bones and cybernetics to build structures and defensive.
Despite their nightmarish appearance, they promised and delivered a lot of aid in the combat of the Centuri. However with the Arrival of the X'tachn, more Centuri would arrive and they were less kind-hearted than the first force. The Battle over North America became more extreme. And often the Centurai would launch invasions from Africa and Europe to land forces on the coast and push inland towards the X'tachn instead then try and breach the USA air defense bolstered by the X'tachn techical skills.
The X'tachn offered mutual support to humanity, teaching them about strange energies and more of their technology. This was not done out of kindness as it would be learned later.
The mutations of the X'tachn warped minds and bodies making them easier to control by X'tachn. Much like how OMNI controlled tech, so to did the X'tachn reshape and take control of flesh.
Much of the technology of the X'tachn was stolen from other races they had enslaved with their powerful psionic mysticism created from the strange energy source of the Higg Generators, something they barely understood. They had come not as allies but as conquerors using humanity as cheap foot soldiers for the war against their ancient foes the Centurai.
Thanks to human meddling the tricks they used on others were soon discovered, but not before a large sway of Humanity forces came under the sway of the alien monsters who promised much for allegiance, something some found themselves unwilling to say no too.
With the new aliens learned to be a new threat, the Earth became a three-way war between the Centuri, the X'tachn, and humanity were trapped in the middle.
