Starbind System
The Starbind System is a traveling spacestation, surrounded by three artificial moons that act as a defense mechanism. The IF-CID uses this facility for various means, usually when they need a massive but mobile protective structure.
The four components to the Starbind System are:
Starbind Alpha: A dark red artificial moon, terraformed to have destructive volcanic activity on a regular basis. Mostly covered in a sea of lava, the only permanent feature on the planet is the access terminal, which is needed to disable part of the protective barrier around the Sanctum.
Starbind Beta: A deep green artificial moon, terraformed to have a dangerous jungle. With bloodthirsty plants and a booby-trapped path, it requires careful movement to reach the access terminal, which is needed to disable part of the protective barrier around the Sanctum.
Starbind Gamma: A pale blue artificial moon, terraformed to be a frozen tundra over a formerly sunken city. Buried within this ancient city is the access terminal, which is needed to disable part of the protective barrier around the Sanctum.
Starbind Sanctum: The spacestation proper. When occupied, the Sanctum can choose to drop the protective barrier and allow travel into and out of the station. Otherwise, this shield requires IF-CID agents to deactivate the three access terminals on each artificial moon in order to reach the station.
