Hydra Nexus

To the north of Tyflosia exists the Hydra Nexus, a massive forest. Compared to the forests south of it, this region is much more tropical and almost rainforest-esque. Due to its proximity to the core, plant life grows incredibly quickly, and sentient plants known as ‘flauna’ have evolved here. The natural plant life here regrows quickly, and full trees can regrow within a single day. The Hydra Nexus is ruled by a mysterious group of flauna elders who shun outsiders. Legend says that some of them date back to the time when dragons first settled on the planet, if not even earlier. The chief among these elders is known as the Ancient Hydra.
