Erizone

The Capital city of Arbolisk, where both the Royal family and the other branches of Government operate. It is still a city of somewhat notable size, but not as large as either Topica or Medios are. Built around a large tree which is on top of a cave system that allows access to the core. The city was built on two large plateaus amongst the foothills of the Annostad mountain range, where the Great Tree of Arbolisk was discovered. A result of the terrain, the city itself was divided into a number of ‘tiers’, built on the many hills that dominated this region. At the top, alongside the great tree of Arbolisk itself, was the Royal Institute of Core Research and the Royal Palace.
The next tier down, not far from the palace, held most of the other governmental buildings as well as some rather lavish housing for Erizone’s elite. Arbolisk’s upper class tended to be just as insufferable as most other planets, but they had their own unique flavour. On this same layer near the tree was a rather notable shopping district, which had sprung up as a result of trying to capitalize tourists visiting the tree.
The majority of the city was across a ravine on a separate plateau connected by a series of bridges. Due to safety concerns, buildings over a certain height had to be a certain distance from the Tree itself. As a result, Erizone’s downtown and business districts had been built on a separate plateau, and most of the residents lived in residential areas on that same side of the city.
