Into the woods?

General Summary

The Heroes of Darknook began their afternoon attempting to save a beleaguered cleric from a spider as big as a house.
Alas, this proved too difficult and the cleric was slain, along with his men, before our heroes were able to stop its rampage.
Sir Vejapho Klokis turned up in time to bring Marble back from the brink of death and helped the heroes reach a decision that they should depart for Starleaf Vale along with Maly Lete and Amafrey Windriver immediately.
In departing they also accepted a mission from Aldan Gerop - she needed supplies purchased at the Starleaf Market. To that end she gave the heroes a cart, two horses and 100gp with the promise of 20gp each for a successful trip.
The journey into the Llangoed Forest was initially uneventful before the party rested the night. The next day saw the discovery of the remains of the Griffurd Family and an ambush by a horde of small multi-armed spiderlike creatures. The assault almost proved too much, and both Mehmen Ashid and Alok Ravaralei found themselves at death's door, but our heroes prevailed and now find themselves in the middle of a hostile forest...
