Griffurd Family

The Griffurd family was a family of dwarves and one of the 3 families involved in Bali’s Necromantic Cult. They fled Darknook at the same time as Bali . They were the owners of the abandoned hunting lodge in the Llangoed Forest where the cult practised their rituals.
Once they had been a prosperous merchant family in Deehill who also owned the palatial hunting lodge and a small farm retreat in Darknook. However, they fell on hard times and were forced to sell the business and retreat to the farm and eke out a living as farmers. They were unable to afford the upkeep on the lodge which simply became a ruin. 
In a desperate bid to restore the family fortunes the family threw their lot in with Bali’s Necromantic Cult which ultimately caused them to flee Darknook for parts unknown.

Assets

The family owned the abandoned hunting lodge in the forest as well as the The Griffurd Farm which was confiscated from them after they fled Darknook and gifted to the Heroes of Darknook.
