New Year's Resolutions 2023

Article #1 The Red Tongue

I have a hard time with languages and thought that this article was extremely well done. A lot of effort, time, and work went into this article and it really shows.

Article #2 A Poem: Notae Licet Obseda

Poetry can be very difficult to do and even more difficult to do well. I thought that this article was very well done and really adds to the flavor of the world. This is definitely something that I should try to do in the future.

Article #3 On Dragons: A Book by Torhal Ardonatto

Who doesn't love dragons and books about dragons even better. This was a great document that refers to a lot of the interactions between dragons and bi-pedals. Dragons have vanished from my world, but perhaps I need to create a few similar resource books about them in the libraries of my world.

Article #4 Soul

This was a very interesting article concerning the soul. I think that delving into this subject could lead to some very interesting and consequential impacts on my world.

Article #5 Introduction to the Sextant

I have a hard time finding technologies for my very untechnological world. This is a great article about a historical simple machine that can be employed in probably everyones world. I may need to find similar items to use in my world.

Article #6 Warband

This was a neat article about a profession that is often an over looked part of an army. I think that often the smaller components of world can add more depth to it. It will be interesting to think about what some of the smaller parts of my world can be explored and expanded upon.

Article #7 The Dark Plague

I really like the conditions and diseases aspect of out worlds and am always curious how others view them and write about them. This article about the Dark Plague reminds me that I should have several of these in my world.

Article #8 Falls Of The Sun

An interesting little article about a monument that reminded me that not all them need to be artificial or built, but can be natural. I think that having some significant natural areas and monuments in my world would give its inhabitants more reasons to travel and explore and lead to many new articles that would expand my world.

Article #9 Order of the Unicorn

This was great article about an order of knights and really showed a great way to talk about the history, culture, and structure of the organization. Adding several orders of knight to my world is on my to do list and this article was an inspiring reminder to do just that.

Article #10 Ferossa

I always find writing settlements to be very difficult and long. This article was very interesting and had some really neat ideas that would help me write more settlements in the future.

New Years Resolution:

There were a lot of great articles again this year that have inspired several new ideas for the future of my world. Last year I focused almost exclusively on dwarves for my articles. This year I hope to expand my world and try to focus on the elves of my world. Aside from that I’d like to try and fix up some of the article that I ran out of time on, particularly Summer Camp and Spooktober. I'd also like to add many more geographic regions and settlements, both in type and in number so that I’d have more homes for future articles.
