Martu'amurruk (a.k.a. Storm Mother, Lightningdeath, Killing Tempest)
Martu'amurruk is an ancient blue dragon that dwells in the vast caverns beneath the desert of Folly's Wake. She is a descendant of the greatwyrm Bala'Ishkur and the prime deity of the Daariv Draken. Through possession of the sapphire Dragon Core, the soul of Bala'Ishkur has merged with that of Martu'amurruk, who has only recently come to understand her connection to her ancestor.

General Physical Condition
A blue dragon of immense size and terrible power, Lightning Death's mere presence is preceded by violent thunderstorms that batter the land with gale force winds and fill the sky with crackling lightning. In battle, the monstrous blue dragon will emerge from dark black thunderheads, flashes of lightning revealing the sleek silhouette of the ancient beast. Her roar is rolling thunder so loud it can cause the ground to tremble, and her crackling breath lays waste to enemies fleeing in terror from her. Every flap of her enormous wings sends arcs of lightning into the ground, turning sand to glass and incinerating organic matter in an instant.

Personal history
Martu'amurruk was born shortly after the demise of the greatwyrm Bala'Ishkur. When she was just a wyrmling, Martu'amurruk came to possess the shard of the blue Dragon Soul which contained Bala'Ishkur's soul, infusing the young blue dragon with the power and knowledge of the Storm Queen. The Dragon Soul caused Martu'amurruk to grow faster than her siblings and her peers, reaching the size of an adult dragon before her first hundred years. By the time she was two hundred years old, Martu'amurruk stood taller than the most ancient dragons in Divostra, and the Daariv Draken in Folly's Wake began to worship her as the second coming of the Storm Mother.
Martu'amurruk again rallied the blue dragons together and pushed their influence north into Shandalar, raiding towns and villages in southern Rhovanion and western Quorel'hrim. These raids culminated in an attack on the city of Noi'cendelë, which led to a months-long siege of the ancient fortress. The Quorel'hrim Kingdom finally recognized the threat posed by a powerful blue dragon and brought the full force of their military to bear against Martu'amurruk, which they had given the name Lightningdeath. They managed to severely wound Martu'amurruk, driving her back into the desert to hide while she nursed her wounds.
Rather than being humbled by her defeat, the dragon grew bitter and vengeful. Once she had recovered from her injuries, Martu'amurruk flew into the tumultuous caldera of the Sea of Hubris, seeking out the ruins of the Storm Queen from before the Sundering. She located the caverns that once housed Bala'Ishkur and there the blue dragon uncovered the history of her kind. She learned of the Dracomachy and of the mother of all dragons, Tiamat, her current fate imprisoned within the Nine Hells, and of the Dragon Souls she had gifted to her champions. Martu'amurruk decided then to do as her ancient mother had done and sent envoys to the greatest of the chromatic dragons scattered throughout the world, entreating them into an alliance known as the Prisma Convocation dedicated to reassembling the Dragon Souls so that they might free Tiamat and reassert chromatic dragons' right to rule Divostra.
