Glamoured Tangle

The Glamoured Tangle (Draconic: Nagusa yinsl, lit. 'enchanted jungle') is the northeastern region of the Zandrazil Jungle.
The location of a particularly strong convergence of Thaumic Leylines, the barrier between Divostra and the Feywild is particularly thin within the Tangle. The jungle is filled with all sorts of fey creatures, as well as the green greatwyrm Gesh'tiannak whose mere presence has turned the Tangle into a twisted, ever-changing labyrinth of vines and trees from which few adventurers have returned.

Ecosystem

The flora and fauna of the tangle are wildly different than the rest of the Zandrazil Jungle due to the influence of the Feywild as well as the presence of Gesh'tiannak, with only the weirdest, hardiest or most clever creatures able to survive in its wild ecosystem. Invasive species of trees have taken over the area, with boughs so high and thick with foliage that few areas of regular sunlight can be found within the deepest parts of the tangle. However, the trees adapted bioluminescence that provides the plants and animals below a source of light in the darkness, with the entirety of the tangle bathed in vibrant blues, violets, and greens.
