Pithymeleu
A port city with a strong city guard, the paranoid Lord Kostas Nicolas keeps the city (and his own keep of course) well fortified and well patrolled in case of orc, goblin, or other invaders from the forest. The city has not seen any attacks at all for decades. This is a common stop for ships sailing up and down the coast, and reprovisioning ships and entertaining sailors is big business.
Noon Stair
A high-class residential district, heavily guarded by the city guards. The Mesim Family owns this entire district by having served the Nicolas family for generations.Docks Ward
A sprawling district adjacent to the common dock area for merchants and trade ships. Guarded by common city guards who are easily bribed. Merchant ships can pull into town here and sell directly from their ships. Many common merchants maintain shops here.Oak Rock
The Bowl
East Ward
Ghost Gate
Home to the Midnight Markets. After the sun sets these streets become a completely unregulated market place. There are no guards in this area aside from the personal bodyguards hired by merchants who wish to do business here.Demographics
One of the minor ports, it has a primarily human permanent population, with a number of travelers of all races passing through on the way to the Kingdom of Knosos, Eretria Dimokratia, the Kingdom of Massalia, and The Free City of Cyme.
Defences
Very well defended, with robust and well maintained walls, and a large, well trained city guard. Due to the lack of actual defending required, the power of the city guard has resulted in wide scale, flagrant corruption.
Industry & Trade
Pithymeleu primarily exports high quality cabinetry woods from the forests upriver along with finished products. It is home to several mills and numerous carpenters.
Infrastructure
Kostas Nicolas and his family reside in a heavily guarded keep where they watch over the city from afar.
Guilds and Factions
The Carpenter's Guild holds a great deal of power in the city.
Architecture
The Nicholas family has used their wealth to import a great deal of dwarven stone for the construction of the keep and the city walls. The bulk of the city is more simply constructed of wood from the nearby forests.
