Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Ignoring the fact that she needs an exoskeleton to live, while having it on she is quite agile, reaching high speeds and being able to do all sorts of maneuvers while flying and while not exactly strong, she is not weak either, being kind of average in this area in regards to other avian hybrids.
Body Features
Kate is a bluebird hybrid with slightly lighter blue on her face, chest, belly and crotch, and whenever she activates her mind control, purple stripes show up all over her body.
Avian hybrids in general are kind of weird, as they do have arms and their wings are actually a skin and muscle extension that can be expanded at will from their arms, deploying wings about two and a half times their own body, they have a tail with feathers that expand and aid them in flight as it would happen with any normal non hybrid bird, and they also have thick thighs but long and thin legs and claws for feet, their bodies are a bit stronger than those of some normal hybrids in order for them to be able to trap, lift and carry people with their claws and fly them off wherever they want.
Identifying Characteristics
As she needs the exoskeleton to live, Kate is rarely seen with another upper cloth other than a jacket or a coat, making this big piece of hardware an easy way of recognizing her.
Physical quirks
Left handed with several ticks on both her head, eyes and legs, when walking it seems like she is always drunk and about to fall down.
Always keeping her head up and being as confident as she can be, one rarely sees her standing still, even when sitting down or talking she is always waving her hands, arms, legs or head, even when sleeping she tends to move around a lot.
Special abilities
Francisco got in contact with someone who knew the Gribasspēks and payed them to give it to both Kate and Stephen, she takes advantage of it to use her wings as sharp sword like weapons but has not been able to apply it to the weaponry in her exoskeleton.
Apparel & Accessories
While working she always wears the standard surgeon uniform or lab coats, on her everyday live however, she always wears orange shorts with a brown leather belt and a silver vest.
Specialized Equipment
The exoskeleton she needs to wear was modified by the Arkhipova to hide a small machine gun and some explosive projectiles, Kate does not need to use her hands or arms in any way as both of this weapons are hidden on both sides of her hip and since the exoskeleton is linked to her spine, the weaponry is activated and shoot with a mental command.

Personal history
Found as an egg under the riddled corpse of her mother by the Scuilan army, she was taken to an orphanage ant put into an incubator for the rest of her gestation period, while both of her parents were gunned down, not even the authorities could find the reason for their demise or the responsible for it, all they knew was that it had something to do with the government of Deregan and as no other relative could be found, she was taken under the care of the orphanage´s owner, Leonor Kartika, up until she was three years old, there, she met, befriended and grew along a kangaroo only known as "Stephen".
In the early 90´s a war between Scuila and Deregan broke up, a conflict known as the "Savage war" Which led to her orphanage getting raided by armed forces, she and Stephen managed to run away and ended up lost in the woods, here, they came across a mysterious portal to another dimension in which they stepped in out of curiosity, they ended up entering the shadow dimension and did not last more than two minutes before getting scared by their inhabitants and running back to earth, unfortunately, one of this inhabitants, a spirit named "Melanie" managed to posses her body and escape from the shadow dimension, there, this spirit would find out that they are unable to live on our dimension without a host and that after getting one they were stuck with them, as any attempt to separate from Katherine would cause them both to die, in that moment, Melanie merged with her and would show up as a split personality, taking control over her body from time to time and even being able to manifest physically, whenever this happened, Melanie would take the form of a decolored Katherine made out of smoke, this is because they do not have any form or gender by themselves and once merged with someone they take those from their host, when in this form, Melanie can move freely as long as she keeps a distance of a 100 Meters radius within Katherine.
After being lost for three days, Katherine stepped into a landmine and survived but was left in a near death state, luckily, they managed to get near a small village and Stephen was able to run there to ask for help, he came across weapon dealers that were selling guns to the population, as they were expecting an enemy attack.
The man in charge of the dealers sent a medic to rescue and attend Katherine and even managed to get them both out of the soon to be a war zone, taking them to their own hideout, this man was named "Francisco Arkhipova" And was the son of the leader of the Arkhipova mafia family that ran all sorts of illegal business all over Scuila.
The doctors that attended Katherine managed to save her arms and legs, there wasn´t any damage made to the skull or the head in general and her internal organs could recover after some time, but her spine was compromised, this left her in a near vegetable state, where all the movements she could make were way too limited, Francisco commissioned a military grade exoskeleton for that would grant her the ability to move normally again, sadly, she couldn´t remove it for more than an hour a day or could be left in a vegetable state.
After finding out about their situation, Francisco decided to adopt them and raised them as their own children, over the years, Katherine would be able to move even more and be able to take the exoskeleton for more than three hours a day but was still conditioned to use it everyday.
As they grew up, Francisco was slowly introducing them to the "Family business" Teaching them how to administrate and run the whole weapons trafficking part of their business, he also payed for her education, encouraging her to study and get a degree in medicine so he could have more trusted doctors that could treat both him and his associates if needed.
While studying, she met and befriended Marisol Dabney, whom she would spend most of her time with from then on, both on work and non work schedules.
During this time, Francisco exposed himself, Katherine and Stephen to the purple material, wanting them to obtain any kind of power in order to help him with his business, Francisco developed an ability that he kept as a secret, Stephen was not affected by it and Katherine developed mind control, this could be activated at will, making some glowing purple stripes to appear all over her body and on top of her plumage when used, it made her release pheromones that forced others to obey every spoken command given to them by her.
After the war ended, she, Stephen and Francisco moved to the city of Latvia, Katherine worked alongside Marisol in an hospital owned by the Arkhipova family and used by Francisco as a personal hideout and as his main headquarters to run his whole part of the business.
Currently, Katherine or "Kate" As she is called by her friends works as a surgeon in the hospital and eventually helps the Arkhipova with the weapons trafficking.
As time went own she began having the urge to leave the Arkhipova, as her experience as a surgeon led her to have a different view and a bigger appreciation for the welfare of those in need, motivating her to secretly sabotage most of their operations, looking for a way to get out of that world as soon as possible, taking both Stephen and Marisol with her.
She has mixed feelings towards Francisco, on one hand, she wants to kill him for everything he does and all the lives he has directly and indirectly taken but on the other side, he was the one that saved her life, raised and made her the person she is today.
One day she tried to use her mind controlling abilities with Francisco but soon found out that this power did not work with others that had been affected by the purple matter and even when always having the chance to use someone else to kill him, her mixed feelings towards him did not allow her to act.

Over the course of her career she has saved countless lives and has managed to protect both Marisol and Stephen from the perils their "Business" Gets them into.
After a while she also had successfully sabotaged many of the Arkhipova´s operations without getting caught.
Failures & Embarrassments
Kate is not able to sleep in peace thinking everything she does with the Arkhipova and knowing they are harming people on their own, what haunts her the most is the welfare of both Marisol and Stephen, and even more as the latter actually got deeper into the trafficking business.
She sees the exoskeleton itself as a cage, feeling frustration each time she touches it, knowing her body will be paralyzed without it, even when the Arkhipova installed it a mini machine gun and some explosive projectiles, the mere act of mentioning it to someone represents an embarrassment for her.
Mental Trauma
Kate couldn´t process most of what happened during her time running away in middle of the war, all she knew is that Stephen had to be protected and that they have to survive at all costs, she was even forced to kill to protect him while they were running away, Stephen claims they both had to "Grow up" the moment they had to run from the orphanage but while he went out with a more or less stable mental heath, Kate descended into insanity and while she is able to keep herself together, most of the times she tends to act like a child, it is difficult for her to keep a serious attitude, has an abnormal amount of energy and even twitches her head, ears and feet sometimes.
She has been possessed by Melanie for quite some time and while they tend to have arguments and Kate hates her presence every now and then, they have managed to merge both their personalities so much that it is difficult to determine if it is Kate or Melanie who controls of the body.
Both of them are overprotective with Stephen, who they see as their younger brother, and because of all the things they have gone through since the war and with the Arkhipova, its hard for them to really trust anyone besides him and Marisol, thus, they tend to exploit their mind control and use others to do as they please.
Morality & Philosophy
Both Kate and Melanie have utilitarian tendencies and a superiority complex, tending to manipulate everyone they come in contact with, enjoying humiliating and playing pranks on others, feeling a strong sense of satisfaction whenever someone does as they say.
At the same time, they are both hypocrites because despite of what was stated before and being capable of doing anything for Stephen, they have a sense of justice where they do not tolerate any violations to justice, claiming that they do not want anyone to suffer what they did during the war and still, they do ignore other people´s will by mind controlling them, not to mention all they do with the Arkhipova, involuntarily or not.
They do not stand watching someone physically suffering.

Taking down the Arkhipova family, getting Stephen out of the criminal business and being able to live with him without the need of looking over their shoulders all the time, and finally, find inner peace with Melanie, hoping to soon become one with her.

Kate is a gifted artist, she can draw almost anything she sees at near perfection and sometimes with photo-realistic detail if enough time is given to her, there is also her observation skills, being able to perceive any kind of movement no matter how small or slight it was.
On the other hand, she gets easily stressed with anything that has to do with remembering specific details, as both she and Melanie have a somewhat bad memory and can get easily distracted.
Vices & Personality flaws
Both Kate and Melanie are addicted to vanilla ice cream and suffer from abstinence if they do not eat it at least once every two or three days.
The biggest flaw they have is not their insanity, childish like behavior, short term memory, being easily distracted, having an evil nature or being hypocrites and manipulators; their biggest and most fatal flaw is that even when both Kate and Melanie have accepted each other and have been slowly merging in one person, they tend to argue a lot, mostly if an important decision has to be made, this doesn´t allow them to coordinate themselves some times and can leave them vulnerable in any kind of scenario.
Luckily for them, they are just a few months, might even be weeks away from becoming one single personality.

Even with all the resources of the Arkhipova, she couldn´t find any kind of information about her biological family, she only knew the Scuilan government had either censored or disposed of any kind of data relating to her relatives, Francisco investigated her family on his own and was surprised over the fact that he or his associates were not able to find any information or even be able to determine why they were "Erased" From history.

She is always full of energy and confidence, has a great charisma when not acting like a child and can even get flirtatious on propose when wanting to lure someone to do something she wants, the Arkhipova claim that whenever she gets serious, Kate is one of the most dangerous "Femme Fatales" they have ever come across, as she can easily flirt and attract both men and women, manipulating them at her will without the need to use the mind control, being able to get a lot of information out of a person in a single conversation, this is complemented by the fact that she is utilitarian, meaning that whenever she uses her "Female charm" there is low to no chance of her emotions or impulses getting in the way and even if they do, she can always use the mind control to even it out.
Francisco has tried to convince her several times of being a spy for the Arkhipova but all he has managed to get in that regard are some small espionage operations from time to time.
All of this means that while she normally does not have the attitude or behavior someone would expect out of a "Spy" or a "Femme Fatale" A "Serious" Kate can be quite dangerous when using her words as a weapon and she is able to know when to keep her childlike behavior on line most of the time, thus, all of the cons she has in regards to the espionage missions can be neutralized by the use of the mind control.
Mannerisms
Normaly she talks like the hyperactive person she is, talking way to fast and sometimes using words of her own invention, as mentioned before, Kate is always moving as if she was drunk and has a lot of nervous tics.
If she gets serious for any kind of reason, all of this is mannerisms are toned down.

Her hobbies include making pranks to people, eating ice cream, play board games in public parks, fly around to pass time, collect colored flowers, reading science fiction and dancing.
Speech
Oh god, how do i start with this?.... Kate´s high pitch voice and hyperactive way of speaking leads her to be somewhat annoying for some people, mostly if she is acting childish, she is always shouting "Hey!" When entering a scene, while excited she moves her head around with fast movements like crazy, she starts and ends every sentence with a high pitched word.
If serious, while maintaining the natural high pitch voice, her hyperactivity decreases and sometimes disappears at all, this carries over to her speech.

History
It all started back when Charles was part of the SF5 team, he was barely a teenager and found Kate and his brother hiding in a closet begging not to be killed during one of his missions that consisted in raiding an orphanage in order to seek some specific personnel. After feeling sympathy for them, he helped them escape the place and would not know about them until years latter when Kate actually managed to find him just to thank him personally for saving her life, promising to help him in whatever he might need in a future. When the D.O.W.A. Allowed Charles to have some personal vacations, he immediately reached out to Kate and asked her to be beside him because he felt a bit lonely and wanted someone to spend his time with, she accepted and went as far as allowing him to live at her place while he was on vacations on the condition that she would use her mind control on him just so he wouldn't do anything catchy or unwanted, he agreed and lived with her for the following few months. It was at this time where he also met and got to know Kate's Specter invader called "Melanie" who would actually display genuine respect for him and also thank him for helping Kate and his brother escape the orphanage. After a while, and after confirming that Charles genuinely only wanted company and nothing more, she began to develop an emotional attachment towards him, an attachment Melanie was not sure how to respond to. Surprisingly, Charles also began to felt the same way about her but was actually too shy to directly talk to her about it, claiming that it was the first time in his life he actually felt shy about doing something, he even confessed to not be able to have enough commitment to maintain an actual relationship

While Kate was the one to track and contact Charles in the first place, it wasn't until he kept approaching her that he felt the need of being besides her since she had been the only person to genuinely care about him. As for Kate, being able to offer any kind of support to the man that saved both her and her brother's life went beyond a deed she had to fulfill and became a loyal commitment to him.
