An'Xan Aiki
Carve your own monument before you leave. Seems pessimistic.
An'Xan Aiki is an altogether modest village at first glance, but the facade masks a rich history of exploration. It is customary for Xanthun explorers to set sail from An'Xan Aiki after carving their name into the obelisk in the city square. Should they return, their name is removed and magically restored to pristine stone. Thusly, the names on the obelisk are a monument to lost, and yet-to-return explorers.
