Carson Peter Jones (a.k.a. "Carrie")
Physical Description
Some muscle but equal amounts of fat. Pretty agile but not really strong.
Pale with pinkish undertones. White. Between mesomorph and endomorph 5-5-2. Not the best metabolism, but not horrible either. Rectangular to hourglass body shape.
Round/heart face shape. Average nose. Long but thin ears. Full flat eyebrows. No facial hair.
Some knee scratches left scars. Industrial and standard lobe piercings on left ear, daith and standard lobe on right ear. No tattoos but would consider putting the caduceus on his ankle.
Ambidextrous. Messy, quick writing with a lot of spelling mistakes. Walks light, casually, and quick with a bit of a spring in his step and his arms swinging a fair bit. Prefers to run rather than walk and has a tendency to pace or wander around aimlessly. Cannot stay still/in one place. His posture is decent, because although his binder causes him to slouch his constant excitement and energy keeps him a little straighter. Stands with all his weight on one leg with the other crossed over it or out to the side and his hands in his pockets or at his sides. Sits with one leg down normally and the other up on the chair; he either leans back and holds the leg that is up or has one arm on the table and the other up on that arm. Gestures a lot and uses his hands to emphasize practically everything he says. Doesn't like to fight, but if he must, he will generally use poison and bioweapons or defensive weapons to incapacitate an opponent without killing, maiming, or causing much pain.
Tends to wear loose clothing to hide curves and look more masculine. Wears a binder as much as possible, and if he can't he swaps to a sports bra and puts on a yellow and blue hoodie. Wears loose blue jeans, sometimes ripped but always cuffed at the ankle. A grey or graphic t-shirt. A flannel over top, he has them in practically every colour but loves his yellow one. He rolls it up when it's hot. Simple old converse-like sneakers that are yellow and blue. Wears those knotted friendship bracelets in practically every colour on both wrists. Simple silver daith and industrial earrings that were the ones he got his piercings with. His standard lobe piercings are blue gem studs.
He has a full first aid kit that can handle most cuts, burns, and other wounds. With the help of
Ava Ibori , he has developed a wide variety of his own tools and venom antidotes based on his constantly growing knowledge of medicine. It may not be a perfect medical kit, but it's good enough to keep the people at Seafire alive. The hospitals nearby aren't great, and they are incredibly expensive, so Carson's kit is the best most people can get.
Show spoiler
The kit gets better over the course of the story as
Tally Wilson is allowed to steal from hospitals and get medical supplies.
Mental characteristics
As a child, his family ran a bakery and he learned to bake to help out a bit. His parents were always very busy, so he had to learn to take care of his own and his friend's small wounds, prompting a curiosity around first aid that was only perpetuated by his caring for small animals he found. He met
Angel Diaz in high school and was eventually homeschooled with them on the weekends. His parents were not really supportive of him being trans, so he spent a lot of time at Angel's house with their family who loved him more than his parents did. When Angel's father got hurt by an
Atmosnake, Carson saved him from the
Atmosnake Venom with a combination of his supplies and stuff he stole from the local hospital. He worked with Angel to create Project Seafire and convinced
Angel Diaz to let
Ava Ibori and
Tally Wilson help run the place.
Male, he/him. Binds and packs, basically doing anything to appear like a boy.
High school, homeschool, and self-teaching. Some official first-aid and medical certification, and some self-teaching with a lot of using the local library.
Helped out at the bakery from time to time as an unofficial employee. Spent time volunteering and interning at the local hospital.
Meeting
Angel Diaz , coming out to parents and high school, saving Angel's father, and helping to create Project Seafire.
Failed to be the person his parents wanted him to be. Didn't do super well in school except for things like health and human bio that involved medicine.
Wasn't supported by his parents when coming out. Was bullied a lot in school. The gravity of the world hit him really hard when he was thrown way outside of his skill level in needing to save Angel's dad. Is terrified of ever hurting someone physically or emotionally, and therefore dislikes confrontation and fighting.
Great at healing and medicine. Very people smart; can read people's emotions well and is able to help people.
Everyone should be equal, free, and safe. No human being should ever be harmed in any way for any reason whatsoever. Everyone deserves a second chance and forgiveness, and everyone deserves a chance at a good future.
Personality Characteristics
He wants to make a difference in the lives of as many individual people as he can rather than trying to tackle all of society. He always wants to help people who are hurt or sick whenever possible. He values his friends above practically anything else and wants to support them to succeed.
A great people person who can read emotions well. Very, very good at medicine and first-aid. A good baker and a decent cook as well. Not particularly skilled at mechanics and technology and stuff like that unless it relates to medicine. Crappy at languages and especially spelling. Both his spelling and his grammar are terrible.
Likes:
- Assorted baked goods (they remind him of his childhood
- Puppies and practically any animal
Dislikes:
- Violence and confrontation
- Crying and showing sadness
Very kind, empathetic, and compassionate. Has a maternal nature. A great friend who is amazingly supportive and loyal. Can remain optimistic practically all the time and can see the best in everyone. Always knows how to help someone who is down. A very, very good healer. Energetic, witty, and very funny. Has a great sense of humour and is always able to make people laugh.
Suppresses and hides all negative emotions in an effort to keep up his happy demeanour. A little too happy-go-lucky and kind of naive. Can't be serious about pretty much anything or actually accept that a situation doesn't have an upside. Cowardly and will almost always avoid confrontation or violence. Tends to give everyone second chances, even if they have proved that they don't deserve it.
Fiddles with his binder strap a lot. Bounces his leg and taps his fingers on tables and stuff like he's drumming. Always changing positions and shifting his weight when he's forced to stay still. Clicks his tongue while thinking. Rubs eyes a lot when stressed or upset. Snorts while laughing.
Has incredibly good personal hygiene because he's a doctor and knows that washing his hands is the best way to keep away germs. However, his living space is covered with stuff all over the place because he is very disorganized.
Social
Doesn't have a strong relationship with his parents as they don't support his transition or sexuality. He still loves his family's dog, Bailey, even if he doesn't get to see him even remotely often.
Uncertain. He feels like there has to be something out there, but isn't quite sure what.
An extrovert; he is very comfortable around people and loves socializing. Appears more confident than he is. Incredibly kind and compassionate. Can read and interpret the emotions of others very well. A very supportive friend. Reasonably good manners.
Brings a lot of energy to every room he enters. Big on finger guns and thumbs up. Gestures a lot, generally with his pointer finger.
His family has a yellow lab named Bailey, but he very rarely sees him. He loves to bake whenever Seafire gets the supplies for it. Spends lots of time working on his medical kit and trying to improve his tools and develop more antidotes. Spends whatever time he has left watching movies or TV shows, and especially loves comedy.
His voice is cheerful and sharp, though a little bit rough because he doesn't have access to consistent doses of testosterone. Tenor pitch. He doesn't enunciate a ton but is still fairly clear. Talks fairly quickly and sharply, but tries to slow down to sound more masculine. Speaks fairly informally with a lot of slang and contractions. He somehow manages to use as few proper medical terms and still be understood perfectly by his division. He laughs a lot. He compliments people a fair bit. If he insults you without smiling, know full well he is serious and probably hates you. Unless you are his good friend and know he is joking, he will never insult you. Doesn't really swear, but uses 'heck' and stuff as a joke.

Grew up in the upper middle class. His family didn't live in the Northern Sector with the other crazy rich people, but they were quite rich, capable of having luxuries and never going hungry. Now, he is a part of Project Seafire and is pretty much broke.
Project Seafire earns money from saving citizens or for being hired to clear out demon dens. Their biggest source of income is the Intrigue department that
Tally Wilson runs, who steal resources and money from the Northern Sector overly rich corrupt residents.

Author's Notes
Carson is one of my most constant characters. Compared to others I have made, he is one of the most unchanging. However, he has gone through a lot of development over the past few months. He is one I am constantly working to improve.
