People

There is one overall head of the Project, Angel Diaz. Beneath that, there are heads of each division, then of each division's sub-divisions. Overall division heads sometimes co-head a sub-division. Below that, the ranks go as followed:
  • Top [Job], [Name]
  • High [Job], [Name]
  • Middle [Job], [Name]
  • Specialized [Job], [Name]

Public Agenda

They have two major goals. The first is to protect the populous, especially the lower classes that the government isn't helping. This means providing food, health care, and that sort of thing, as well as doing a lot of demon slaying. They want to permanently irradicate demons to help the world. Secondly, they want to fix society, primarily the deeply corrupt governments of the world, starting with Amenia's.

Assets

They have very, very little money, as they only receive money occasionally from grateful citizens they save. Sometimes they get hired to clear out demon dens or that sort of task, but those instances are few and far between. They based themselves in a particularly large abandoned apoc bunker (apocs refer to the rich people who hid away in huge underground community bunkers) built to house about 5,000 people that got attacked by demons. They have an efficient farm-type tech that was a little run down when they got there, but they have been building it back up and expanding it to feed the people that come and go from Seafire. They have a full medical wing with a fair amount of tech and drugs from the people who were there before, and the stuff that they have been running out of they have been creating, stealing, or occasionally buying. The RnD department develops the majority of their unique technology and weaponry, and they are supplied by the Intrigue department, which steals and scavenges for useable scrap and tossed tech and other things of that sort. They have about 7,000 people who are part of the organization, but only about 3,500 are permanently living at the facility, with lots of people moving in and out. Of them, about 2,500 are soldiers, 1,400 are in med, intrigue, and RnD respectively. About 300 work in recruitment permanently and do basic training for the newbies, but there are people in each department who do advanced training.

History

The organization itself is about two and a half years old. Angel Diaz and Carson Jones met Ava Ibori out wandering around the edges of Amenia looking for people to help them with their project. Ava Ibori, alone and in desperate need of friends, decided to help out. The building was found by Angel Diaz, Carson Jones, and Ava Ibori when they were out looking for somewhere to base their little organization. The place was an apoc disaster shelter/bunker type thing that was supposed to protect them from the outside world; the problem was that a group of demons got in and the 5,000 people living there had no training or experience and couldn't protect themselves. All the people who lived there died at least 20 years before the place was found. It was very large, entirely underground, very well-hidden, and fully stocked with lots of resources and technology. They decided it was a good place to stay and kept the location. Quinn Silva was the next big leader to find the place when they were living out on the outskirts of the Amenia borders and was therefore the next to join. Tally followed not long after. It took about a year and a half for Ava Ibori to find Ryker Ibori after he broke out, and with his addition, the Project's leaders were put together. They have rapidly gained supporters and members over the time they have been an official organization, and have gained infamy even faster. The government has thought of them as a potentially dangerous organization with the potential to take them down, so they have ensured that the law makes organizations like this very illegal. Anyone who wears the Project Seafire patch is considered a criminal. But on a more positive note, Project Seafire has been helping a lot of people; they heal citizens far better than the hospital does and have been generally a very effective player in the war against demons.

Demography and Population

A total permanent population of about 3,500 people, but a total of 7,000 people part of the organization. The majority of people are some kind of minority to Amenia as they tend to end up there because they are outcasts; they might be queer, poc, or disabled. About 3,500 of the people are female, 2,500 are male, and about 1,000 are genderqueer. The birth rate is incredibly low: most people leave if they give birth because they don't have the facilities to care for children and Firists, especially soldiers, tend to get injured or die. They usually suffer around 300 deaths per year and another about 750 injuries.

Territories

Project Seafire has no official territory, as they are an illegal organization. They have renovated and re-vamped an old apoc shelter/bunker with an entrance hidden in the forests to the southwest of Amenia. It expands outwards towards the south and is entirely underground. There are two stories to it, each being about 250,000 hundred thousand square meters. There is a tertiary third floor, but it is only about 50,000 square meters. The first floor (at the top) is all the public spaces; it houses all the working divisions. It has the hospital, storage, labs, common/rec rooms,, fitness/training rooms, and conference/office rooms. The second floor is living space: bedrooms and bathrooms mostly. The bottom, small floor is all farms and kitchens to provide food to the settlement. The place was originally intended to build a safe, underground, permanent society for 5,000 people who had previously lived in luxury. Therefore, it is quite large.

Military

They have a full military as their organization has a goal that requires a strong military presence. The Reconnaissance and Military division, or Arms division for short, is the primary military division of the organization. Reconnaissance is a quicker, more agile division that is better at quick strike and ambush tactics. The military is better at traditional, typical, direct combat, and everyone is trained in weaponry and some martial arts techniques. Enlistment and Basic Training (EBT) is a secondary military division as it provides people to the Arms department and everyone in the EBT division is a competent fighter and can act as a military department in an emergency. The Intelligence and Assets (Intrigue) department is also a secondary military division although it is significantly more skilled at stealth and speed than direct combat. Both the Research and Development (RnD) and Medical (Med) departments are, except in extreme emergencies, not military divisions. They provide a lot of medical services and weaponry/armour respectively to the military divisions but aren't active in combat themselves.

Technological Level

The Research and Development Department (RnD) is in charge of developing the sciences and technologies of Project Seafire. They develop tech that supports every other department present; they provide weapons and armour to Intelligence and Assets (Intrigue), Reconnaissance and Military (Arms), and Enlistment and Basic Training (EBT). They make some enhanced standard weapons for the majority of these divisions, but Head, Top, and sometimes High ranked members of these divisions get specialized weapons and armour that they request that are made to suit their fighting style. They work very closely with Medical (Med) to develop new medicines and tools to heal people; they require people from both divisions to work together for these projects because of the differences in knowledge. They also are very linked with Intelligence and Assets (Intrigue) because they supply all the resources for RnD to operate.

Religion

It's one of the most religiously diverse organizations present in Amenia. Compared to areas around it, there is a far strong population of atheists and a slightly bigger population of non-Christians.

Agriculture & Industry

The Medical Department has a subdepartment dedicated to daily health requirements such as food, so they run the farms on the bottom floor of Seafire. They are essentially superfarms. Although they don't create a ton of variety in terms of their food, they are capable of creating a lot of it. There are a lot more plant-type food sources in Seafire because plants are a far more easy to produce, though they do have chickens and a very small handful of cows for milk, eggs, and occasionally meat. Cotton is also grown and then mixed with nylon in case new clothing needs to be made. They also create their own tech and weaponry; the Research and Development (RnD) Department is skilled and efficient.

Trade & Transport

They don't do any trade whatsoever, because they aren't interested in money. They let people in need into Seafire and allow them to use their resources for a short time. They also occasionally receive donations of all varieties from the people they help. However, most of their stuff is produced in and stays in Project Seafire.

Education

The people at Project Seafire have wildly different background education levels; some come in having never been educated at all and some have had college-level education. When they go through recruitment, everyone gets some basic training in self-defence and simple grade-school level education if they don't have it already. Any children under age 15 who join will get proper high-school education from the people there who used to be teachers and from online schools. Everyone has access to online colleges and courses if they want them. When people are sorted into their Departments, they will get training in their overall department, then be sorted further into a sub-department, where they receive specialized training. Some people in each department will be put into a separate Education Department which consists of people from every other department who will be in charge of teaching the new recruits after sorting.

Major Exports
They do not export anything. They do, however, give out some of their resources to the people who they bring into Seafire temporarily who need help for the time they are there.
Major Imports
They do not do anything that would qualify 'trade'. They occasionally get donations, sometimes money, animals, seeds and other agricultural products, and sometimes spare tech, metal, or circuitry. They acquire a lot of resources for weapons and technology from stealing from wherever they can; the only exception is that they won't steal from the people living in the Southern sections of Amenia because they already don't have a lot.
Legislative Body
Division and sub-division heads get to make minor laws for their division and behaviour within it depending on circumstance. However, Angel Diaz, being Seafire's overall head, gets to make all the major laws that all the divisions follow. Most rules are made with democratic input and Angel Diaz's approval.
Judicial Body
Division and sub-division heads are responsible for the actions of the people in their divisions and minor rule infractions. They handle basic punishment, which is typically a suspension of action and allowance to go on missions. Severe infractions would go to Angel Diaz and could result in expulsion from Seafire, or in special circumstances, imprisonment within Seafire.

Author's Notes

Project Seafire is a constantly evolving organization that I am constantly trying to go more in depth about. It has been a challenge to arrange the logistics fo it and figure out what would be logical in terms of size, power, and resources. It is ever-evolving for the requirements of the story and a very interesting organization to explore.
