Vrotolay (Ver-oh-toe-lay)
Demographics
Vrotolay consists of an even distribution amongst different species with much inter-species socialization. Many citizens travel great distances to settle within the city due to it's unique career opportunities. Wealth classes have a common disparity in a cityscape ranging from poor to very wealthy.
Government
Settled initially by Senan O'Lowryand a group of Tamers, Vrotolay experienced an explosion of growth due to the founding of The Magical Creature Alliance. Senan established himself as the primary leader of the city under the title of Prime Tamer. He works alongside other Tamers in order to govern the internal happenings of the city through a councilship.
Defences
The city is primarily protected by a squad of Tamers, usually with vey mobile mounts, who patrol the city regularly and handle the apprehension and punishment of criminals and intruders.
Industry & Trade
Since the time of it's initial founding, Vrotolay has been the societal leader in magical creature relations. As such, a majority of the industry of the city revolves around magical creature education, training, taming, care and communication. Due to the relatively new nature of the field of magical creature relations, the informational and physical industry is the primary factor that the city relies on for it's industry.
Infrastructure
Following it's founding, Vrotolay experienced an explosion of rapid growth and development of roadways, building structures, bridges and production facilities appeared throughout the city. Due to the assistance of the Tamers and their tamed creatures, building times were able to be reduced drastically.
History
Vrotolay began as an idea proposed by the current Prime Tamer, Senan O'Lowry, which was then realized by the combined effort and advocacy of the Tamers who founded the Magical Creature Alliance which led to the development of the city to it's current state.
Tourism
Many seek to tour or migrate to Vrotolay, especially those with a particular interest in magical creatures and their properties.
