Prime Tamer
Qualifications
Support of the Magical Creature Alliance, the Tamers and the local community. Extensive experience and education in the Tamer profession and a strong connection with a partner magical creature.
Appointment
Through a meeting of all local accredited Tamers, a Prime Tamer is nominated and voted on for approval and must be unanimous or close to it in order to be established.
Duties
The Prime Tamer serves as a public figure as they represent the Alliance as well as the rest of the Tamers. The Prime Tamer also attends all council proceedings and will weigh in on decisions with a heavier vote than an average individual, they are also deferred to for a decision in the event of a tie.
Benefits
Prime Tamers receive a considerable stipend from the Alliance and all other income channels, as well as a well-decorated private room at the Tamers Embassy.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
It is unknown how or under what circumstances would exactly lead to the dismissal of a Prime Tamer as the position has only been historically held by one individual.
History
Prior to the creation of the Magical Creature Alliance, the original group of Tamers appointed Senan O'Lowry as their leader and dubbed him the Prime Tamer due to his leadership qualities, knowledge, skills and charisma during community interactions. Following his appointment and gracious acceptance of the role, Senan began acting as a more confident leader, spearheading the inception of the Alliance and founding of Vrotolay.
Notable Holders
Senan O'Lowry was the first and only holder of the title of Prime Tamer, and seems to have know expectation of stepping down anytime soon.
