There are not many details about his life that have been documented. He was a doctor in the before time, but was new to the profession.
Accomplishments & Achievements
He is known for helping to found Camp Hope. He became one of the primary medical teachers and did his best to document everything that he knew about medicine. He also wrote Hope's Purpose which lead to the founding of the Church of Hope which has become the primary faith in Camp Hope.
Mental Trauma
Hope's Purpose makes it clear that he was never able to let go the loss of the society that he was raised in. He mourned the profession that he had dreamed of joining.

Motivation
More than anything, he wanted the world to return to the way that it was before the Fall. At his heart, he knew that this wasn't possible, but it was a dream that he could never completely let go.
Reign
He was the first leader of Camp Hope, but the job didn't carry a formal title at the time. He was the only Doctor, so he generally used that as his leadership title. He is remebered for being a great teacher who was able to preserve a corner stone of human society.
The Cure is the only way that we can reclaim all that we once had. Finding the Cure is finding our humanity.
