    The First Humans
    Population Migration / Travel

Seeing the flourishing world the gods had created and furious at its imprisonment, the ever-hungering Chaos gnawed at the borders between its Realm and Dalnaes until it could sneak tiny threads of itself through. Knowing the gods would act instantly if it allowed its true form to show, it trapped and devoured mortal creatures that came across its threads, using materials from their remains to create a new lifeform: humans. Driven by the Chaotic power that created them, the humans rapidly spread with singular purpose: destroy the gods' creations.

    Religious event

To end humankind's relentless lust for power, the gods cast powerful magic upon the elven homeland, creating the Enchanted Wood. War of the Sands
    Military action

(date is subject to change)   The War of the Sands is somewhat of a misnomer, as it was actually over a dozen smaller wars that took place over the course of two hundred years between Caer Thalion and Zarglÿf. The name came from the location of most of the fighting, which was the northern half of the Y'dak.
