Wariés - Gau Dwarovar war

Alder Kardip, the child of Mayna Kardip has gone missing, and she believed that he was taken by Alena Agoban. In order to rescue her child she asked for the help of the Emperor VII. Marnon Hobbar who has gathered his forces and allies and declared war on Gau Dwarovar.   Many of the nations thought that the child missing was merely used as casus belli - a reason for the war, but the Emperor of the nation known for its conquests had just that in mind, the expansion of Wariés and control of the both sides of the Portal of Dwarovar.   Nations were hesitant to join at first, but have slowly poured in one-by-one.

The Conflict

Prelude

The plot of Alder Kardip's disappearance was investigated by the Dreamwalkers who came to the conclusion that he's been kidnapped by Gau Dwarovar. Having found no ways of negotiation that worked - due to Alena Agoban denying the claims - a war was declared for the only child of the Ruler.

Deployment

Wariés and the rest of the world surrounding them has not foreseen nor anticipated the Soldiers of Gau Dwarovar to be Undead. They could not be killed, not even by Magic, and a proper way to combat them had to be discovered while the conflict was happening.

Battlefield

Following the Sunchaser's destruction of War'nis the only path between the two sections of the caverns was via the Portal of Dwarovar. The main conflict concentrated inside the caverns of between the two portal entrances, a chokepoint where the forces of Wariés were severely overpowered by those with unnatural abilities.

Outcome

The Portal of Dwarovar - Bilta was destroyed to stop the forces of Gau Dwarovar from entering Bilta.

Aftermath

Wariés getting cut off both physically and economically from the rest of the nations has began spiralling down, and to combat that a union with Dali'ra was formed in the name of Marra - a nation uniting the southern settlements of the region.

Historical Significance

In Literature

Some do think these invincible Soldiers of Gau Dwarovar were just a nationalistic children's tale. What fascinates researchers however is that both sides tell the story so there could be at least partial truth in them. We have not seen any such Soldiers since neither in the armies of Gau Dwarovar nor any other nation, so it's one of the great mysteries of our history.
