Undead

Undead are considered to be the primeval form of destruction in Daënfel.
The creation of undead is strictly prohibited by the Avanís Pantheon, and sightings of these creatures and their necromancer overlords are meticulously tracked and ruthlessly hunted down by the Knights of the Eclipse.
Stories of these creatures swept the continent following the opening of The Maw, as these creatures destroyed towns, infested graveyards and grew their numbers through necromancy.
During the Second War against The Federation, the invaders utilized undead in their attempted subjugation of the continent. It is said that the people's of this nation swear their allegeniance to an Undead King, which has ruled over them for millenia.
Sightings of undead creatures among the ranks of soldiers guarding the ancient gateway to The Depths Below have increased as of late. Clerics and champions of the The Avanís Pantheon, particularly The Chevalier, have congregated at the Maw to help dispel these insidious creatures.
