Divine Spellcasting in the Dawning Empire

The people of The Dawning Empire worship all of the Gods in The Avanís Pantheon, and call on each depending on the situation. It is the belief of the people of Daënfel that a God's power comes from their worship - a God who is forgotten has no power, and a God who is known and revered by many is more powerful.
Thus, chanelling the power of the Gods in Daënfel is a very personal affair, that draws power directly from the relationship between the caster and the God. A cleric of Daënfel might pledge themselves in service to a particular God and call on them more often, but that does not stop them from calling on a different God for aid should the need arise.
As a God is beseeched to lend their aid, the resulting effects manifest in such a way to display and exemplify that God's power. For example, you might call upon The Green Knight as you cast "Resilient Sphere", as a shield of vines circles around the caster to protect them from danger. Similarly, a Fly spell called from The Wicked Sisters might bring with it the fury of the tempest, or a Detect Evil and Good spell channeling The Astronomer might light up revealed creaturs with silvery starlight.
