Weary Spark

Weary Spark is a condition introduced to the sparks of all bots that undergo the Tailored Spark process. At some point in their lifespan, they will simply begin to die as their spark dissolves.

Transmission & Vectors

After a single century of use all tailored sparks begin to exhibit Weary Spark.

Causes

The Tailored Spark system induces a limited lifespan for a normally near infinite lifespan spark.

Symptoms

When starting with a Weary Spark the bot begins to pause at random as if they have lost connection to the world around them. They begin to move and speak sluggishly. Eventually, after a decade at its worst, their spark begins to break down and the bot passes away while still trying to complete its orders.

Treatment

There is no known way to repair the already damaged spark after the Tailored Spark process.

Prognosis

Quintesson Forge Works recommends anyone whose bot suffers from Wear Spark to send for an immediate replacement as the bot is passing its warranty. This is of course if they purchased the warranty. Otherwise all they do is throw the poor bot into the Smelting Pit .

Sequela

The main symptom is the bot begins to pause at random intervals, then later sluggish speaking speeds compared to normal.

Epidemiology

The condition is created simply as a side effect of the Tailored Spark process and is not stoppable.
