Personal history
The strangest part of Riptide's history is when he was resurrected by Uni the unicorn. Before he returned to the material plane he had a vision of seeing his master in a temple in the elemental plane of water where he gives him the Wraps of the open hand (Mortal Memento). After which he then briefly appeared in the fey wild with Uni before going through a portal to Heatherdale to find the rest of his friends there. Riptide has had many other strange experiences in his life but he believes that this is definitely the strangest.

He was heterosexual and had crushes in school but never had a girlfriend but due to magic he has been turning bisexual and now is factually in love with his fellow adventuring group member Sylinvall
Education
Evans School of Knowledgewas riptide first and only school. He started attending in 19pr aged 10 and left in 25pr aged 16. He dropped out of school to follow his dreams of becoming a sailor like his father. During his 6 years at school, he learnt many useful skills and may unless skills. He made many friends and foe along his schooling journey. He was bulled for most of the years for being green but apart from that person everyone was very accepting.
Cresterian navy was where he joined in 25pr when he dropped out of school. He started learning the job with his father until he join his own crew which he would later become captain of. during his time in the navy, he learned many skills of sailing, team works and leading.
Luth Lackman's Monastery was where he was washed up after The treasure Island was pirated. He was brought in a taught the skill and the mental skill of becoming a monk by the end of his 2 year training with Luth he had become an efficient and powerful monk of the open hand.

During Riptide time at school, his dad wanted him to get a part-time job to start making money for himself as he was not going to give Riptide money as he did not want to have a spoiled son. So Riptide found a part-time job as a salesman in a magic item shop. This was the beginning of a deep fascination and slight addiction to magic items. In his time working there lots of adventures and powerful people came and went buying a selling crazy magic items they looted or designed and built.
Riptide joined the navy at a young age after he dropped out of school to follow his dreams of being a sailor and helping the world. He started out going on trips with his father until he found a new crew that took after his first mount in the navy. He spent many months with the crew until he was promoted to become caption of the ship The Treasure Island.

Failures & Embarrassments
Killed by Xanathar. This was a failure as he believed that he could take on Xanathar practical on his own but foolishly suffocating his pet goldfish. Lucky he put Xanathar on lower enough health the rest of the knights of Braveheart could finish him off.
Released a group of confederacy sailers after which they release animated weapons to kill the people of Heatherdale. This is his largest embarrassment because it put lots of people lives in danger and it killed a few people. It was also due to how easy it was to avoid. To this day he is still confused why he did it but blames the fact that he had just been restricted but that is not the reason.

Fishing used to be one of his favourite pass time with his dad when he was a young boy. When he matured into a teenager and begin swimming more he started seeing and realising how the fish and other aquatic animals feard humans. Due to his realisation, he stopped fishing for fun and now only fishes if the food is scarce or there is no alternative food source.
Meditation was a thing that he believe as a child and teenager that was pointless and a waste of time but after his eye-opening training with Luth, he now meditated whenever he can. His preferred place of meditation is at to bottom of the sea. A pool of water would do. But if he must just sitting somewhere else would be sufficient.
He is a huge advocate for not drinking. Since he was of age he has never been interested in alcohol evening if people are pushing it under his nose he politely refuses. He believes that you should not could your judgment with anything and need to always be ready for anything. One of his biggest dislikes in any person is people becoming powerful and influential due to family position. This is why when people say the only reason he is captain is that his dad is an admiral. Krish looked after riptide as a baby before he died. They had many fond memories of playing in the house and the garden together; playing tag and just messing about. On special actions they would go to the sea and have swimming races in the sea which Riptide would win and would slightly annoy Krish but not for long as they would then go role around and bury each other in the sand

Blobby the Sentient Slime
Blobby is quite simply a sentient ball of slime. However, this unsuspecting pile of goo is quite the talented artificer. This cute, green blob was first discovered in the treasure halls of the Confederacy-owned, pre-split research facility by the Knights of Braveheart. In the facility, Blobby and his cousin, Squishy, were the protectors of the wonderous item: the Apparatus of Kawalish. However, shortly before the adventuring party arrived at the facility, Squishy was squished and killed. Blobby can only communicate in primordial, so the only member of the Knights of Braveheart who can communicate with him is the water genasi, Riptide Falone. This immediately created a bond between the two. Blobby would later join the party and be the pilot of the Apparatus. Blobby also became the party's first artificer. He would later make Riptide a powerful pair of wraps; these, however, didn't make it to the monk in time before his demise. Relationships
