Riptide's Fury

History

The Riptide's Fury was originally created as a trading vessel for the Brewers' Guild. However in 29 PR, the ship was caught in a storm north of Doriath and had to be decommissioned. Instead of scrapping the ship, the Guildmaster at the time, Norbert Tinyfoot, used it as payment to a mercenary group known as the Knights of Braveheart. The party had help guard a colony ship owned by the Guild on their way to set up a new town, however the Brewers' Guild did not have enough spare money at the time to pay the party so they were gifted the ship. A few weeks after the Knights of Braveheart took control of the ship it was the Festival of the Split; during this festival the party made a deal with their druid's sister, Elizabeth Edgar, that they would be supplied with repairs, cannons and ammunition, and in return they would scout out and take control of a potential Confederacy outpost.   The ship remained unnamed for some time and it was only when one of their members died, Riptide Falone (their captain), that the Knights of Braveheart decided to honour his death with the naming of the ship.
