Impact to the Story

First Introduction

The Brewers' Guild had been part of the first campaign from the very beginning, by being the guild to which the party's ranger worked for. Additionally, the tavern in which the party were also first hired by the dwarf Sildar was also owned by the Guild.

Structure

The organisation of the Brewers' Guild is divided into four parts: The Guildmaster and their council, regional managers, managing staff, and the general workers. Each role of each of the sections is outlined as such:   The Council: The group of the Brewers' Guild's highest ranking and most skilled members who make all the decisions of running the Guild. This consists of:     The Guildmaster:   Overall owner of the entire guild, representative in the Guildmaster council, their say has the most weight in the council. Any rash decisions made by the Guildmaster can be put to a vote in the Brewers' Guild council, though that is rare.   The Secretary:   Practically the second-in-command of the guild, since Webley has been in power, new rules have been put in place where the secretary is placed in charge when the Guildmaster is not on Brewers' Guild business. The secretary is also in charge of the organisation of the guild's treasury, there to inform the Guildmaster on any large expenditures.   The Headmaster:   In charge of the training of new Brewers' Guild personnel in the academy. Is in charge of a team of staff including teachers, caterers, cleaners and maintenance workers. Is part of the Brewers' Guild academy school council, where representatives from the main branch of the Brewers' Guild along with treasurers and housemasters of the school meet to discuss the running of the academy   The Head of Breweries:   In charge of all breweries spanning over the nations of Cresteria, UHSD, and Edel that are owned by the Brewers' Guild. The Head of Breweries does still have partial say over Brewers' Guild products that are produced in other breweries.   The Head of Taverns:   In charge of all taverns spanning over the the nations of Cresteria, UHSD, and Edel that are owned by the Brewers' Guild. They are also in charge of purchasing taverns off of other private businesses. This role is often disliked by the general public because of previous Head of Taverns' methods of buying taverns: if the owners refuse to sell then a temporary tavern is set up nearby that is used to draw customers away from, and eventually bankrupt, the other tavern.   The Head Captain:   Representative of the vessels owned by the Brewers' Guild. They are usually the most senior or most experienced of all the captains. Currently there are three main vessels sailing under the Brewers' Guild's crest. Though many other trade and transport vessels that don't fly the crest still report to the Head Captain because of their specific missions for the Brewers' Guild. The Head Captain is also in charge of organising escort ships/fleets and sometimes hires bands of mercenaries to be stationed on ships during transit.

Assets

The greatest assets to the Brewers' Guild are, quite obviously, their vast array of breweries and taverns across Cresteria. In total, the net worth of the guild can be estimated to be worth in the tens-of-millions gp.
