"I was taught that Weeping Trees are Faceless Fae who found their masks. Since they get bigger eating people's and animal's faces, they don't fit their masks anymore, so they get rooted in one spot and become a tree."

Weeping trees have been used to make furnishings and other similar items. Forest Elves have been known to be upset with the logging of the trees, however, and those who have been known for poaching the trees have either met legal justice, or have been known to scream about their faces being turned into masks.
