Lieutenant of the Royal Guard Yarrani Chiras Majara
Barret and Chiras’ second daughter. Taller and stronger than her older sister, she was trained as a warrior. She has blue eyes and orange-red hair. She has joined the Imperial Guard and now commands Queen Floret’s personal guard. She has had flings with several of the Twelve Jewels, but Queen Floret is her true romantic interest. Floret has taken her into her bed, but Yarrani is far more serious about the Queen than the Queen is about her.

When on duty Yarrani typically wears a mail shirt under the blue surcoat of the Imperial Guard and high boots that will giver her legs some protection. If expecting real trouble she will wear full plate. Her preferred weapons are a long sword and dagger. She wears them most of the time and will generally have them close at hand if she is not wearing them. When off duty she will wear close fitting breeches and a silk shirt or a dress cut to show off her figure.

Personal history
Yarrani was raised alongside the children of the Imperial household and attended the Palace School. As she entered her early teens she showed aptitude in both magic and swordsmanship. She learned swordsmanship on the eyes of Lady Klonna and magic from Lady Khandora. At age sixteen she joined the Royal Guard and just three years was appointed to command Queen Florets personal guard detail. She has proven herself an efficient and highly competent officer. Yarrani soon developed a crush on the Queen and found her way into the Queen's bed. She is devoted to the Queen, but hates the idea that she will never be more than one the Queen's numerous lovers.
