Baroness Lanta Tranta Kofar (a.k.a. Lani)
Baroness Lanta Tranta Kofar – The daughter of a Rowen, a Pirate lord of Rowes. She became one of Atheneis’ lovers during one of the Empresses’ secret missions to the island. Lanta is of medium height, but has an otherwise uncanny resemblance to the Empress with her pale skin, black hair, and a muscular but well-proportioned body. She likes to dress in piratical fashion, preferring bright silk shirts, tight breeches and shiny boots accented by flashy jewelry. She likes, but is not in love with the Empress, but has become just as much Montara as Atheneis’ mistress. She sees her relationship with the Empress as mutually beneficial. She loves the wild life at court, but spends the majority of her time at Port Kofar managing the fleet. She is the Admiral of the Imperial Fleet, which she has built up by recruiting high quality officers and building new ships. She is generally friendly with all the key players at court and his happy enough to share a bed with any of the Royal wives though she has a well-developed romantic relationship with Princess Montara.
She is pleased with her rising position in the Empire and hopes to eventually become the Duchess of Rowes. She is aware she lacks anything sort of political following at court, and sees her knowledge of naval matters as her prime asset. In cooperation with Norissa she manages Port Kofar and she has become close friends with Norissa and her wife. The Baronesses’ court is heavily populated by naval officers and members of the Forest Coven.

When She is at home or court she goes for a very femiine appearence wearing dresses of silk her velvet and often wearing her hair in elaborate braids. She typically carried a rapier and a dagger as her primary weapons and had several throwing knives on her person. If expecting trouble she will wear enchanted studded leather armor.

Oringally being trained to be a leader among pirates, Lanta broke with her father and ran away with Atheneis Majara. She became Atheneis' publicy acknwoeldged mistress and was appointed to manage the administrative buildiup of the Majaran Emprie's navy. She is a Baroness of Kofar, a domain that includes Port Kofar and much of the area to the south and the west of the town.

Lanta is principally embarrassed by her parents. Her father was one of the pirate lords of Rowes and her mother was a slave. She looks down on her father for being a pirate and looks down on her mother for accepting enslavement.
