Tenets of Faith

It is the good war that hallows any cause, not the inverse.

Forsake the average and the plebeian. Strive for excellence above all others and all else.

The outcome nor the reason matters in war or battle, only the raw battle-frenzy born from such places.

Limitations and obstacles are to be overcome by any means necessary. Whether the means be devious, inscrutable, or wise and inspired, claw your way to ever more wisdom, more knowledge, and more power. No act is too virtuous or too vile in the pursuit of such things.

Honor is for the limited. Embrace ecstasy in all forms and let it vivify and imbibe your life, and let creativity and deviousness flow through you always.

Be as one with and embody the animals that surround you. Embody the rage of the charging bear, the wisdom of the raven, and the nimbleness of the monkey.

History

The second of the Giant Gods to die beneath the hammer of Moradin during The Jotunhunts, Odin had until his death been the genius tactician and leader of the Giant Pantheon, and almost single handedly was keeping Moradin and his Dwarves from truly claiming victory over them after the death of Thor...yet, in a daring plot, Moradin and his children Gods infiltrated Valhalla and slew Odin in his throne room before his wife, Freyja, leaving her alive as a savage reminder to the Giants of their past. With his death, only the daring Baldr remained alive, and the Giants had all but lost.

No one was as much of a bastard as Odin. Sure, history makes him look nice...but the man hung himself to learn more secrets. He was obsessed. He always had to win, always had to know everything, always had to be on top. He'd backstab, lie, connive, and fuck everyone over if it meant gaining more knowledge, more power, and MORE.   Bastard. Hope he rots.
