Knox Trader's Guild
The largest merchant guild in the Union. Originally established by the famed Abel Knox, it has been a staple business of Coralous for decades.
History
Created by Abel Knox during the height of power in New Coralous, the guild started as a means for the well-traveled and well-liked founder to sell his economic knowledge to the colonial nobles while operating out of the small, but geographically important, town of Nettle Lake.
Ever the philanthropist, when The Fall of New Coralous occurred, Abel leveraged his network of suppliers and caravans to help resettle and support his fellow colonists, establishing his company as a household name across the colonies. Being one of the most well-connected men left in the area, local leaders came to rely on Abel and his company to facilitate the smooth exchange of goods and services during the transition from control under the nobility to the creation of the Coralous Union, and the Trader's Guild grew in power and influence as he did.
Now, the Guild is one of the most powerful organizations in the Union under Abel's son, Samuel Knox.
