Persis Kailenni

A Mage-Knight Squire of the Ashentine Mage School. He is one of the embassy of Mages sent to Talindis, nominally to hunt Diarrat Nayosei. He is the Squire of Kassar Daminos.
Persis is a tall physically fit youth, who is also an excellent swordsman. He is a noble and honest youth who always tries to do what is right. He also likes people to like him and it frustrates him if they don't, but at times he can think he knows better than anyone and that his opinion is all that matters. He is extremely loyal to his friends and is a friendly, goodhearted person. He believes magic is not a toy or to be used for menial things and is annoyed by people who do so.
After the death of his master, he gets caught up with the Medean apprentices. This leads him to re-examine his allegiences and will even lead to a loving but fiery relationship with Lisseth Nayosei. Along with most of the Medean novices he is given a Nepheshite Crystal which sends him into a coma.
