Il Vicinato

Every long-term District 6 resident knows them. Players from other districts encounter them without realizing they are a formal organization. That is exactly how Il Vicinato prefers it.

Il Vicinato is a neighborhood association. They organize block Events, maintain communal spaces, mediate disputes, and ensure that District 6 functions as an actual community rather than a collection of people who happen to share a postal district. They have no economic agenda, no territorial ambition, and no Combat capability worth mentioning. They know everyone, everyone trusts them, and being on their bad side in D6 is a form of social exile that no amount of Lumens can easily reverse.

Founded and led by Rosa Cattaneo, who has served pasta to Heroes, Villains, and players the rest of the city had written off. Any resident of District 6 is part of the neighborhood regardless of class, rank, reputation, or history.

Cultural Identity

Distinctly Italian aesthetic. Warm lighting, communal tables, food at every gathering. Members wear no uniform; the only identifier is a small embroidered patch of a lit window worn on jackets or bags, signifying that their door is open. Loud opinions delivered with genuine warmth, a family-first organizational structure, and a collective memory for every resident's name, preference, and most recent difficulty.

• Enzo Cattaneo — Anziano. Rosa's brother. Maintains the courtyards and communal infrastructure.
• Giulia Ferrara — New resident coordinator. The first face most new D6 arrivals meet.

Known Relationships

• Maribel Santos: Il Vicinato's most important commercial partner. Rosa considers her family.
• Evie Clarke: Attends communal dinners when her schedule allows. Rosa packages dessert for her to take home.
• Angela / Hope Syndicate: Rosa has known since Year 3. She has not confronted them directly. Her response is ensuring every player they are targeting already has somewhere else to belong.
