Heroes

Heroes are players who have chosen a gameplay path built around protecting the city and its inhabitants. They have access to a dedicated task pool from The Beacon that includes rescues, defensive operations, escort missions, and direct responses to incidents created by Villains.

Hero Subtypes:

The Beacon recognizes two primary styles of Hero play and routes Tasks accordingly.

• Responders: These Heroes are the first on the scene. Their value lies in speed, efficiency, and cleanly resolving dangerous situations before they escalate. Top Responders, like Car Bean and senngularity, make difficult extractions look effortless.
• Duelists: These Heroes specialize in direct, stylish Combat. Their value comes from creating entertaining spectacles, maintaining sportsmanlike conduct, and generating memorable fight footage. Top Duelists, such as OreoMuncher67 and Fumiko , are players that both Heroes and Villains actively want to fight.

The Beacon evaluates Heroes based on their effectiveness and professionalism. Key metrics include incident completion rate, response time, and ensuring civilian safety.
